How do I access e-mail remotely or through Webmail?

Your remote or "Webmail" access is as follows:

  1. Open a web browser window
  2. Type in http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail (replace "yourdomain" with your own). If this URL does not work for you, please let us know as you may still be hosted on a different server.
  3. To login enter your e-mail address and password
  4. Choose a Webmail program to use. We like "Horde".

Please note the following important points:

  1. Dealing with e-mail through a Webmail program means you are dealing with messages right on the server. If you delete an e-mail through Webmail, it is gone and will not be accessible later through an e-mail client like Outlook!
  2. If you are acessing e-mail remotely through Webmail and you notice that there are no messages, it is possible that you left your desktop e-mail program open and it is still checking mail. If you know you will be away from your desktop and you still want to access e-mail remotely, shut your desktop client before leaving.
